There are several options for you. When you start a blog and a limited network experience is the best choice is www.blogger.com. It is incredibly easy to use and help you can easily send links and tips.
If you are a little more advanced, WordPress is definitely the best option. I just want to choose between the two (and have tried all).
In fact, I have produced videos in WordPress to help the people who started www.EssentialWordpressSkills.com. Each option is good.
I definitely want to prevent others on the list because they have nothing to offer more to WordPress or Blogger and Blogger and Wordpress, the most widely used blogging tools on the Internet.
